Boyfriend's character again. Everything I said about it (Horizon Lion is my first attempt) last time pretty much applies here too. Next time I draw this guy it has to be in a dynamic pose, seriously.
I really don't like how his bottom half came out. Just pretend he's about to take a big smooth step out or something.
now that I look at it again- I really like the contrast. I might have put some more highlights on his shirt to seperate it jus a lil, maybe orangish backlighting to go with the fire, but it looks really nice. I'm wondering how you got that firey effect. It really does give off "fire" when you look at it.
I forget how. Lots of playing around. Personally, I think I did too much playing around, but I was really trying to cover my ass (read: hide my screwups) in this.
Thanks a lot.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
